Lizard Analytical Laboratories, LLC was established as Key Labs, Inc. in 1991, changing to its current name in 2014.

Lizard Analytical Laboratories analyzes water, soil, minerals, sludge, industrial wastes, and other materials. LAL uses EPA or other government approved protocols to satisfy permitting, monitoring, site assessment, remediation, and other regulatory requirements.

Our customers include government agencies, industries, engineering and consulting firms, and private citizens.

The chief analytical chemist and quality assurance manager is William M. Shannon, PhD.

Dr. Shannon has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Texas at El Paso; a Master of Science in Geology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Texas at El Paso; a Doctorate from Texas Tech University at Lubbock; and 4 years of Post Doctoral research at the University of Idaho at Moscow. Dr. Shannon has over 30 years of laboratory experience.
